19 Years of Inhouse Affiliate Marketing

Dear clients and business partners,

My name is Jan Bischoff, founder and Managing Director of NetSlave GmbH. On May 1st, 2019, our affiliate marketing company NetSlave turns 19 years old. Time for a brief look back and a snapshot of where we stand today.

I started out as an affiliate in 1997, initially using the classic networks of the time – from the US and Germany – and began building the first private network solution in 2000. Today, my team and I support 313 national and international clients with our software solutions.

We work entirely inhouse: software development, Linux server administration, design, content, SEO, and video production all happen here in Berlin with long-tenured, experienced staff. The majority of our clients now run exclusively on a private network.

Affiliate relationships are stronger, individual concepts and ideas can be implemented, and we're usually a step ahead technologically – particularly regarding GDPR compliance and tracking in spite of ITP. On average, our solution costs around 3% of commission volume rather than the industry-standard 30%.

• 0 servers in the cloud – we rely on data security, high availability, and GDPR compliance

• 1 switch with over 10 years of uptime in our Berlin data center – not a single power outage

• 3 full-time software developers with 5, 9, and 19 years of tenure respectively

• 24/7/365 maintenance contracts with 2 external system administrators

• 28 years of experience in software design and development

• 30 monthly full backups to our backup data center

• €1.7 billion in commissioned revenue tracked in 2018 (sales only, excluding leads)

The startup days are long behind us and we're now looking ahead to where the journey takes us next. We continue to expand our services, always guided by the wishes and feedback of our clients.
