Manage Partners

From your first partner to a large network — how to manage your affiliates in QUALITYCLICK.

    Create partners manually

Under Partners → New you create a new partner.

Required fields: Salutation, first and last name, language, email address, password, main website URL, VAT status

    💡Tip
Leave the PartnerID field empty for sequential numbering. Use the admin alias to assign an internal label (e.g. company name). The alias is only visible to managers.

    Approve applications

Under Partners → Approve you find new applications. You can approve partners manually or enable automatic approval (Settings → Partners → Approval).

    Partner lists and search

Under Partners → Show you find partner lists with filters: New partners (last 30 days), Active partners, Deleted partners, without program assignment. The search field filters by name, company, domain or partner group. CSV export of lists is available.

    Program assignment

Under Partners → Assignment you can add or remove partners from programs. Select the program, mark partners with "+" or "−" and confirm with "Change assignment".

    Program overview

The matrix under Partners → Program Overview shows which partner is active in which programs. CSV export available.

    Partner groups

Groups enable bulk actions: change commission level, assign channel, assign program, create account credit, send newsletter.

Create new groups in many places, e.g. under Partners → Show (checkbox selection → Create group).

    Partner detail view

Click on a PartnerID to see all data: registration details, alias, programs, finances, statistics, log.

Key functions in the detail view:

    • Partner login: View the system from the partner's perspective
    • Partner groups: Channel, groups, notes, tags
    • Merchant code: Alternative PartnerIDs for links/invoices
    • PostView cookie days: View-based compensation per partner
    • Nofollow: Output creative links with rel=nofollow
    • Recruited by: For partner-refers-partner, the recruiter ID

    Voucher codes

In the "Overview" tab of the partner detail view, you find the Voucher Codes section. Here you can assign individual voucher codes to a partner that can be tracked in creatives and statistics.

    Categorize partners: Channels, groups, tags

Categorization is the foundation for meaningful reports. QUALITYCLICK offers five levels:

    1. Tracking channels

Assign each partner a channel based on their marketing strategy: SEO, SEM/AdWords, voucher, cashback, price comparison, content, social media, email marketing etc. Some channels are predefined; you can add your own at any time. Channels are the basis for the tracking channel statistics.

    2. Partner groups (system-wide)

Groups that the manager can assign across programs. Use them for operational bulk actions: change commission level, send newsletters, assign programs, manual bookings.

    3. Program grouping (per campaign)

A classification that applies only within a program. Use it to restrict the visibility of creative categories to certain partners or to segment partners within a campaign.

    4. Tags

Freely assignable keywords for flexible ad-hoc filtering. Examples: "Top partner", "Growth potential", "Q2 agreement", "Reactivation needed". Tags can be used as filters in most statistics — especially valuable in controlling.

    5. Campaigns / Partner programs

Programs (campaigns) separate different partner programs — e.g. by country, product line or business unit. Each program can have its own currency, commissions and manager accounts. In cross-program statistics, different currencies are automatically converted to Euro.

    💡Tip
Invest in clean categorization from the start. Without assigned channels, the tracking channel statistics remain empty. Without tags, you cannot filter by partner segments in controlling.

    Recommended onboarding workflow

    1. Review: Check domain and partner information in the application (under Partners → Approve)
    2. Approve: Enable the partner for the system and desired programs
    3. Notify: Send approval email, optionally with tips about creatives or program specifics
    4. Categorize: Assign channel (SEO, SEM, voucher etc.), optionally: group and tags
    5. Commission level: New partners start at the default level. Higher levels (e.g. Silver, Gold, Premium) only after proven performance or individual agreements
    💡Tip
Keep the number of commission levels manageable — ideally three to four: Standard (for new partners), Silver, Gold and optionally Premium. Don't create a separate level for each partner. For performance-based commission increases, use the automatic tiered commissions instead.

    Delete partners

Deleting deactivates the account: login blocked, no new transactions, no payouts, removed from all campaigns. Data and ID are preserved.
