Products & Commissions
Define how your partners are compensated — from simple fixed commissions to complex tiered models.
The principle: Product × Commission level
Partner compensation is determined by the combination of commission product and commission level:
- Commission products define what is compensated (e.g. "Sale", "Lead", "App Install"). The product is passed to QUALITYCLICK via the tracking pixel.
- Commission levels define how much is compensated. Different partners can be at different levels and thus receive different commission rates.
Commission products
Default product
Each program has a default product that is used when a transaction has no product name assigned. The default product cannot be deleted. You can leave the commission at 0 — products with 0 commission are not shown to partners.
Create a product
- Go to Finance → Products & Commissions → Actions → Create
- Select "Commission product"
- Enter the title (e.g. "Sale", "Lead", "Premium Sale")
- Click "Create"
Commission types
| Type | Description | Status |
|---|---|---|
Fixed amount | A fixed amount per transaction, e.g. €5.00 per lead | |
Percentage | A percentage of net revenue, e.g. 8% of order value |
Tier 1 and Tier 2
- Tier 1 (left field): Commission for the partner who generated the transaction
- Tier 2 (middle field): Commission for the partner who recruited the generating partner (partner-refers-partner)
Partner-refers-partner
QUALITYCLICK supports two-tier commissions for programs with recruitment incentives.
Partner X recruits Partner Y.
Tier 1: 5% commission (for Partner Y — the referring partner)
Tier 2: 0.5% commission (for Partner X — the recruiting partner)
Partner Y generates €100 revenue:
→ Partner Y receives €5.00 sales commission
→ Partner X receives €0.50 recruitment commissionTiered commissions
With tiered commissions, you reward partners for increasing performance with higher commission rates. Calculation basis (set once per campaign): number of transactions, commission amount, or revenue amount.
Pay-per-click
With PPC compensation, partners are paid per click. A background process calculates daily net clicks (24-hour IP deduplication). Optional: GeoIP filter for specific regions. Contact info@qualityclick.com for activation.
