All statistics and KPIs that QUALITYCLICK offers — from the real-time dashboard to detailed controlling.

    KPI Glossary

Before diving into the individual reports, here is an overview of the most important KPIs:

    KPIDescriptionCalculation
ViewsImpressions of creatives (net = deduplicated)Gross minus duplicate views from the same IP/cookie within the time window
ClicksClicks on creatives (net = deduplicated)Gross minus duplicate clicks from the same IP/cookie within the time window
CR (Conversion Rate)Share of clicks resulting in a transactionTransactions ÷ Net Clicks × 100
EPC (Earnings per Click)Average commission per clickCommission ÷ Net Clicks
eCPA (effective Cost per Action)Average cost per transactionCommission ÷ Transactions
    eCPM (effective Cost per Mille)Cost per 1,000 impressionsCommission ÷ Views × 1,000
    CTR (Click-Through Rate)Share of views resulting in a clickClicks ÷ Views × 100

    Gross vs. Net

Click and view numbers are shown as net values by default in QUALITYCLICK. Net means: multiple clicks or views from the same IP address or cookie ID within a time window (15 minutes to 24 hours depending on the tracking method) are counted as a single click/view.

In some reports (Controlling, Click Statistics) you can switch between gross and net.

    💡Tip
Want to compare your QUALITYCLICK numbers with an upstream tracking system like Google Analytics? Then look at the gross numbers — Analytics counts every page view individually, just like our gross tracking.

    Dashboard

The Dashboard (Reports → Dashboard) is the start page after login and shows the most important KPIs at a glance.

Quick stats: Gross and net views/clicks, transactions with revenue and commissions (today and yesterday), total partner balance, pending commissions, number of open transactions, date of last payout and total payouts to date.

Partner inventory: Active partners, pending applications, currently logged-in partners — each clickable to the corresponding list.

Program selector: Use the dropdown at the top left to switch all dashboard numbers to a single program.

    Program Statistics

Under Reports → Programs you compare the performance of all programs side by side.

Shown per program: Net views, net clicks, transactions (open, confirmed, cancelled), CR, commission (open + confirmed) and eCPA.

Filters: Date range, date type, tracking channel.

    Export: CSV.

Typical use: Quick comparison between programs — e.g. when you run programs for different countries or product lines and want to see which one performs best.

    Transaction Report

Under Reports → Transactions you see a matrix with commission amounts and transaction counts by status (open, confirmed, paid out, cancelled) and period (today, current month, selected period, total).

Filters: Date range, date type (creation date).

Clicking on a status navigates to the filtered transaction list under Transactions → Edit.

    Creative Statistics

Under Reports → Creatives you analyze the performance of individual creatives.

Shown per creative: Views, clicks, transactions, revenue, commission, EPC, eCPM and CTR.

Filters: Date range, date type, status checkboxes (open, confirmed, paid out, cancelled), restriction to a single PartnerID.

    Export: CSV.

Typical use: Identify your best-performing creatives by EPC. Creatives with high views but low CTR should be revised or replaced.

    Click Statistics

Under Reports → Clicks you find three reports in separate tabs:

    Click Targets

Performance report by click target (landing page) with views, clicks, transactions, revenue and commission. Deleted creatives and clicks without a creative ID (e.g. from deeplinks) are grouped under "0". Switchable between net and gross.

    Click Log Analysis

Detailed analysis directly from click log files. This report may differ from the summarized net numbers in other statistics because different time windows are used for deduplication.

    Cookie Time Span

Analyzes the time span between click (cookie setting) and transaction (conversion). This shows you how long your customers typically take from first click to purchase — important for optimal cookie duration.

    💡Tip
The click statistics at the individual partner level distribute clicks by hour and day (last 7 days). This lets you detect suspicious patterns — e.g. unnaturally even click distributions that could indicate automated clicks.

    Partner & Partner Development

    Partner Statistics

Under Reports → Partners you see the performance KPIs per partner. In each row you can check partners and add them collectively to a partner group — e.g. to change the commission tier or send a newsletter.

    Partner Development

Under Reports → Partner Development you compare partner performance across two time periods. Choose the comparison parameter: revenue, commission, transactions or clicks.

Typical use: Compare the current month to the previous month or the same period last year. Partners with a significant decline can be checked, moved to a group and targeted with a reactivation newsletter. Partners with strong growth can be upgraded to a higher commission tier.

    💡Tip
Partner Development is one of the most valuable but least-used statistics. Use it monthly to identify inactive partners early and take countermeasures — before traffic drops off completely.

    Daily Statistics

Under Reports → Days you see all KPIs as a table — broken down by day, calendar week, month, quarter, year or weekday.

Filters: Date range, date type (creation date, confirmation date, payout date, cancellation date), partner group, commission product/product group, tag, channel, status checkboxes.

    Export: CSV.

Typical use: The weekday view shows which days most conversions occur. The monthly view is suitable for quarterly and annual comparisons.

    Controlling

The Controlling view (Reports → Controlling) is the most comprehensive and insightful statistic in QUALITYCLICK. It shows a monthly matrix with daily values for an entire year.

    What You See

Per cell (= one day) up to 9 KPIs stacked:

    • Net views in thousands (orange)
    • Net clicks (green)
    • Confirmed transactions: count, commission, revenue (blue)
    • Open transactions: count, commission, revenue (grey)
    • Cancelled transactions: count (red)

On the left of each row: percentage shares of open, confirmed and cancelled transactions for the month. On the right: the monthly total. Weekends are highlighted.

    Filters

Year, partner group, individual partner (ID), tracking channels (as tags, removable), commission products, net/gross toggle, tags with "linked" checkbox.

    Export: CSV.

    How to Use Controlling

The Controlling view answers at a glance:

    • Is tracking intact? If all numbers suddenly disappear on a day, tracking has probably failed.
    • How is the program developing? Compare months visually — rising or falling trends are immediately visible.
    • What is the cancellation rate? The percentage shares on the left show whether too many transactions are being cancelled.
    • How does a specific partner perform? Filter by individual partner or group and see their complete yearly picture.
    💡Tip
Use Controlling as a monthly review tool: At the start of each month, review the previous month, compare with the same month last year and check cancellation rates. This way problems are caught before they escalate.

    Product Statistics

Under Reports → Products you see transactions broken down by commission products.

Filters: Date range, date type, status checkboxes, partner group, SubID, checkbox "Show inactive commission products".

Typical use: Compare the performance of different product categories — e.g. whether "Sale" or "Lead" generates more commission.

    Tracking Channels

Under Reports → Tracking Channels you compare performance by channel (SEO, SEM, coupon, cashback etc.). Prerequisite: you have assigned a channel to your partners under Partner → Details.

Typical use: Identify which partner type delivers the highest ROI. This helps you decide which partner segments to invest in.

    SubID Statistics

Under Reports → SubID you analyze the SubIDs set by partners themselves. Partners use SubIDs to distinguish their own traffic sources (e.g. different placements on their website).

    Filters: Date range, date type.

    Export: CSV (monthly export recommended).

    ⚠️Warning
For partners with very many SubIDs (from approx. 100,000 values), the report can require significant computing resources and slow down the system. In this case, use the prepared monthly export as CSV instead of the live report.

    Referrer Statistics

Under Reports → Referrer you see a list of clicks and views by referrer URL — the page from which the visitor clicked on the creative.

Filters: Date range, search field, results per page.

    Export: CSV.

    Detecting Anomalies

QUALITYCLICK provides several tools to identify unusual activity:

    • Click statistics per partner (Partner → Details → Statistics): Distributes clicks by hour and day for the last 7 days. Unnaturally even patterns may indicate automated clicks.
    • Click log export (Transactions → Log): Export the complete click log as CSV and analyze IP addresses, timestamps and referrers in detail.
    • GeoIP filter for pay-per-click: For PPC compensation, you can use the GeoIP module to restrict payable clicks to specific countries (e.g. DACH region only).
    • Gross/net comparison: An unusually high ratio of gross to net clicks for a partner may indicate repeated clicks from a few IP addresses.

Note: Not all partners embed the click or view pixel. Partners with direct linking (referrer tracking) without go.cgi redirect do not generate click data in QUALITYCLICK — here you only see incoming transactions.

    Available Everywhere: Group Actions

In many reports (Partners, Partner Development, Daily Statistics) you can check partners and collectively move them to a partner group. On this group you can then execute bulk actions:

    • Change commission tier
    • Assign to or remove from a program
    • Send newsletter to the group
    • Post a manual amount to all partner accounts
    • Move to a different channel

The selection persists across multiple search queries — you can select partners step by step before executing the action.
